Spooktacular!

Friday October 28, 2011, 7 - 11 p.m.
Elks Lodge, 1312 Mission Street -- San Rafael, CA
On October 28, Friends of the Marin Center members, friends, and supporters, came out to the Elks Lodge to make a difference while having a hauntingly good time.
Costumed guests from all over Marin came in their finest macabre garb to eat, drink, and dance the night away. Decoraters turned the Elks Lodge into a frightfully delightful spookhouse in a matter of hours, setting the atmosphere for a fantastic halloween bash.
Attendees donned some outrageous attire, spooky, spectacular and both! There were prizes for the best costumes! A number of costumes from the evening are now memorialized here on the FOMC website. It was a great chance to get creative!

Live music by S’Cream provided the soundtrack for the evening, with all manners of costumed characters filling the Elks Lodge dance floor. An Affair to Remember Catering offered guests a full buffet. Drinks flowed, and food was devoured by the lively crowd as they packed the Elks Lodge full of spooky fun.
An adult style Halloween event close to home with wild costumes, good food, live music, and a full bar. You just can’t beat that!
All proceeds from this event go the FOMC Outreach Program.

The Elks Lodge is a beautiful, rustic, Historic, Victorian Mansion at the top of "C" Street in San Rafael. Here pictured without cobwebs, coffins, punkins, or any of the other decorations of the evening.

The inside of this building was transformed beautifully for the occasion. Well, maybe beautiful isn't quite the right word.

Food by An Affair to Remember catering, keeping the witches, gouls and zombies happy and well fed with a large selection of finger foods (no pun intended, we hope).

Topical costumes popped up in a few places that evening. Then there were those who were just having fun!
