Meet the Chieftains Party
On January 27, after the Cheiftains performance, FOMC members and almost 100 members of the Marin Irish-American Club got to spend some time with the amazing folk ensemble and toast them with beer from Moylans Brewery or a glass of wine from Roche Carneros Estate Winery.
An Affair to Remember provided a fabulous buffet.
Because the attendance was greater than anticipated, the party, scheduled for the Toyon Room, took over the Redwood Foyer. As you can see from the photos, a great time was had by all.
About the Chieftains The pioneering Irish folk ensemble was formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1963 by Paddy Maloney and gathered much of its early repertoire from traditional Celtic songs written in the 17th and 18th centuries.
